Hong Kong chain goes to Taiwan

Hong Kong-based dim sum restaurant chain Tim Ho Wan has expanded into Taiwan, its third overseas market.

Having soft launched in Taipei, Tim Ho Wan plans to open nine more within five years in partnership with local Tai Ji.

The second outlet will be at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store Co’s Xinyi Place.

The Taipei outlet joins Tim Ho Wan’s five outlets in Hong Kong, four in Singapore and one in the Philippines.
