Nova LifeStyle’s China online sales rise

American furniture retailer Nova LifeStyle has achieved over 200 per cent increase in online sales through Alibaba’s TMall and JD.com in China in July and August.

“Nova’s e-commerce sales in China soared over the months of July and August this year resulting in our strongest e-commerce sales in China yet,” said Jeffrey Wong, CEO, co-founder of Nova LifeStyle.

“We attribute this sales increase primarily to a higher positioning online and in-website search results due to an increase in our product lines and our aggressive promotional campaign coupled with professional and friendly customer service.”

The company said the Wo Zhi Bao brand, sold exclusively in China, continued its strong sales growth rate, proving very popular.

Nova plans to boost its e-commerce and digital initiatives to sustain the growth.
