Online auction house eBay has launched a virtual outlet mall in the US called Fashion Outlet.
The virtual outlet mall allows shoppers to access discounted selection of shoes, clothing and accessories from different brands and leading retailers. It offers more than 200 favourite brands and designers which includes BCBG, Neiman Marcus, Brooks Brothers, Last Call, Reeds Jewelers, Spanx, William Rast, Jockey, Timberland, Fila, Hanes, Custo Barcelona and others.
“Outlets are the fastest-growing retail channel, and we’re excited to bring that shopping experience and value to our shoppers – anywhere, anytime, anyhow. The Fashion Outlet on eBay represents a new, innovative off-price sales channel for brands, retailers and designers to drive multi-channel distribution and incremental sales and engage a new audience by tapping into our community of dedicated shopping enthusiasts,” said by Miriam Lahage, eBay head of global fashion brand.
Shoppers can purchase apparel, shoes, denim, handbags and accessories for prices 20 to 65 per cent lower than the manufacturers’ suggested retail price.
Fashion Outlet lets shoppers to browse by brand, by store, or by classification from uprising roster of dedicated virtual storefronts.
The new virtual outlet mall adds to eBay’s offerings: eBay iPhone and eBay Fashion Vault.
