Sri Lankan womenswear brand enters India

Through a partnership with Indian company Fashion 365, Sri Lankan high-street womenswear brand Aviraté has entered India with the launch of its first flagship store in Bangalore.

The Aviraté store located at No. 589, 12th Main, Indiranagar, Bangalore, is fitted out with spacious interiors, bold lighting and modern fixtures. Customer service representatives who are trained in giving expert style advice and assistance offer a personalised shopping experience for customers.

“The opening of the flagship store in Indiranagar, Bangalore marks Avirate’s ambitious international expansion plans, taking the brand to a much wider audience, offering high street fashion while retaining the exclusivity of the brand. We hope to offer Bangalore’s cosmopolitan and fashion conscious ladies a great shopping experience,” said Arshad Sattar, MD of Aviraté.

Aviraté features dresses which range from Rs 1800 to Rs 8500, shoes priced between Rs 1600- Rs 7700, handbags between Rs 1200-Rs 6500, jewellery between Rs 400- 2700, tops and shirts range from Rs 700 to Rs 3600, jeans between Rs 1700 and Rs 2600, skirts from Rs 1200 to Rs 3600 and extensive selection of accessories including belts and scarves.

Aviraté also offers exclusive lingerie collection including baby dolls, bras, corsets, briefs and thongs priced between Rs 600- 3400.

To keep on par with global trends and styles and to ensure customers find something special every time they visit the store, Aviraté will introduce new styles each week.

Aviraté also plans to open another store at Phoenix Market City, Whitefield, Bangalore.

Aviraté products are designed and manufactured by Timex, one of Sri Lanka’s top apparel manufacturers. Timex also partners with other fashion brands including Esprit, Wallis, M&Co, Jones New York, Diesel and Marks & Spencer.

Aviraté was taken from the Sanskrit word ‘Avirati’ which means sensuality.
