Lotte expands Singapore Duty Free

Not long after it opened first overseas Lotte Duty Free Shop in Jakarta, Korea’s retail giant Lotte Group is heading Singapore for its second overseas duty free shop.

A Lotte Duty Free Shop will open in Terminal 2 of Changi International Airport, expected to open on May 1.

It will sell Korean products along with the usual duty free product range.

“The speciality store is one outlet and is for Korean speciality products, particularly Korean Ginseng and their associated products,” said Changi Airport Group corporate communications manager Lee Ching Wern.

Lotte targets the 47 million passengers that pass through its gate every year. Vietnam, China and Russia are the next prospected locations for its duty free shops.
