Netherlands-based denim retailer G-Star Raw launched its world’s biggest store at Leighton Centre in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

The 7000sqft store is spread across two floors highlighted by an LCD wall and a customised dressing area, all developed and designed by G-Star’s in-house interior design team using raw and natural materials. The store carries all men’s, women’s and accessory collection.

During the launch, onlookers were wowed by a lion dance, stuntmen who abseiled down the building’s facade and an acoustic performance by American singer-songstress Skylar Grey.

The event also showcased models who flew from the Netherlands, Australian model Alexandra Agoston and actress Gracie Otto.

The flagship is part of G-Star Raw’s rapid global expansion which also opened flagships in global’s metropolitan capitals including New York, Sydney, Los Angeles and Tokyo.

G-Star Raw, renowned for its philosophy ‘Just the Product’, has more than 6000 point of sales spanning across 65 countries.
