Like The Venetian Macao and its namesake in Las Vegas, The Grand Venezia will take a taste of Italy’s famous city of canals and gondolas to India.
The Grand Venezia, a Venetian-themed shopping destination with five star hotel and commercial tower in the premises, will showcase its pride in the third quarter of this year.
The 1.5 million sqft themed mall in Greater Noida will host 270 shops including Zara, Planet Sports, Van Heussen, Catwalk, Blackberry, Kazo, Ethnicity, Pantaloons, Jack & Jones, D&A and Allen Solly.
Prominent features include 20 glass capsule lifts, around 2200 car parking spaces, lush landscapes, water bodies with gondola rides, marine life aquarium, kids play area and proposed ice skating rink.
Food lovers can choose Indian and other world cuisine from more than 30 fine dining restaurants.
“On your visit to Singapore, you go to Sentosa tower and in Dubai you go to Atlantis. Similarly, we have tried to create The Grand Venezia as a must-visit tourism destination. Just imagine riding a Gondola amidst a quaint Venetian setting – all within a multi-million square feet contemporary, up-market destination in the vicinity of the capital city,” said Bhasin Group MD Satinder Bhasin.
The anchored commercial tower spanning across 1.5 lacs sqft is conceptualised to be a benchmark business address in Greater Noida.
The 250 rooms with international standards and convention hall and luxury shops in designer lobby will be the boast of the five star hotel.
The Grand Venezia embedded with European architecture is designed by Arcop Associates. Its developer Bhasin Group invested an estimated Rs 450 crore (about US$100 million) for the project.
