Linda Farrow opens Hong Kong flagship

London-based eyewear brand Linda Farrow has opened its first standalone store in Hong Kong – at Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon.

The Linda Farrow Gallery boutique uses contrasting materials of dark textured slate, pale off white stone and stainless steel hardware. The columned walls are fitted with bespoke display cases finished in glass, suede and gold stainless steel hardware provides luxurious environment for the sunglasses and collection of optical frames.

Linda Farrow, through collaboration with designer Charles Anastase, also provides staff with custom-made uniforms. It also signed DJ Yasmina Dexter, who DJ’d at events for luxury brands including Vivienne Westwood, Louis Vuitton and Agent Provocateur, to create music exclusive for the boutique.

The store has been opened in partnership with Hong Kong-based Puyi Group, whose portfolio also includes British luxury eyewear brand Cutler and Gross, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Linberg and Bugatti.

Prabal Gurung, a partner in the new enterprise commented: “Linda Farrow has been such a wonderful partner for us. We’re walking into our fourth season collaborating with them and excited to see how our relationship continues to build. We definitely see longevity here.”

Established in 1970, Linda Farrow is known today for collaborations with several designers, including Alexander Wang, Matthew Williamson, Dries Van Noten and Jeremy Scott.
