VinaCapital buys out partner

VinaCapital, an asset management group in Vietnam, now fully owns VinaProjects, a Vietnam-based diversified real estate services firm, following a buyout of inProjectsGroup’s stake.

VinaCapital acquired the remaining 50 per cent stake in VinaProjects held by Hong Kong-based inProjectsGroup.

VinaCapital will continue to maintain a strategic relationship with the former partner, allowing for joint bidding on appropriate projects in Vietnam and other countries within the Indochina region.

“Our decision to sell our stake in VinaProjects is part of an overall strategy to refocus our company on core high growth services and sectors,” said inProjectsGroup CEO Matt Fletcher.

VinaProjects, was established in December 2009 as a joint venture between VinaCapital and inProjectsGroup. VinaProjects is an independent company that offers professional project and construction management, urban planning and facilities management services to the Vietnamese market.

VinaProjects has developed landmark urban development projects in cities across Vietnam, including Parkson department store.
