Nokia opens Thai lifestyle store

Nokia Thailand, together with IEC Thailand, have opened their first lifestyle store in Thailand on the third floor of Siam Paragon mall.

The flagship store, spanning 134sqm, is divided into four zones: experience display, interactive intelligence, lifestyle studio and accessories corner. The store – designed by British company Fitch – is described as “an interactive place for mobile technology lovers”.

“It’s our flagship store. It is the place where mobile enthusiasts must visit to update, interact and share passions for mobile technology,” said Grant McBeath, MD of Nokia Thailand and emerging Asia.

While no definite expansion plans have yet been made, McBeath said the company is considering opening four to six more Nokia lifestyle stores in Thailand.

“We do not focus on the quantity of shops, but we focus on the quality of shops,” McBeath said.

IEC Thailand runs 10 Nokia stores in Thailand while Central Marketing Group operates 13.
