India’s Gitanjali Group has opened its first global multi-brand store in Dubai’s Meena Bazaar.
The 2000 sqft store houses an array of jewellery brands such as Asmi, Nakshatra, Nizam, Gili and Adler & Roth.
“This store will usher in a new and enriching brand experience in the city’s retail environment,” said Mehul Choksi, chairman and MD of Gitanjali Group.
The group plans to open 25 more multi-brand stores this year in an effort to maintain its 70 per cent year-on-year growth within the next three to five years.
Established in 1966, Gitanjali Group manufactures, brands, retails and distributes gold and diamond jewellery. Gitanjali Gems is the flagship company of the Gitanjali Group.
The group boasts more than 4000 points of sale distribution network. It also owns Samuels Jewelers, a retail chain in the US.
