Caribbean Joe heads to Japan

Brand Matter, the owner of Caribbean Joe, has signed Minoya Company to license the brand in Japan.

Minoya plans to show the line of Caribbean Joe men’s sportswear and activewear in October and retail exclusively in Japan by April 2013.

“Caribbean Joe fits nicely into Minoya Company’s line-up of successful international brands like Converse, Beverly Hills Polo Club, Dickies, Kangol and more,” said Rick Platt, president of Brand Matter.

Caribbean Joe is a lifestyle brand for all seasons. Its apparel and accessories provide an authentic, relaxed, inclusive experience under the Caribbean Joe, Caribbean Palms, Island Winds, Lil’ Joe, Jamaica Bay and CJ Breeze trademarks.

Caribbean Joe offers products including women’s, men’s and kid’s sportswear, women’s and men’s swimwear, sunglasses, men’s and women’s fragrances, luggage, shoes, women’s intimates, loungewear and sleepwear, beach accessories, home textiles, kitchen textiles, beach towels, storage solutions, skin care and sun care, small leather goods, watches, headwear and handbags in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Founded in 1948, Minoya works with more than 20 licensed brands including Airwalk, Converse, Gianni Valentino, Beverly Hills Polo Club, Dickies, Kangol, Spalding and Disney.
