Domino’s Pizza Indian milestone

Domino’s Pizza has opened its 500th store in India – in Rajinder Nagar, Delhi.

The company continues expanding its footprint in India, boasting a 55 per cent share of the pizza market and more than 70 per cent of home delivered pizza sales. Having reached the 500 store milestone, it plans to continue with an aggressive growth plan.

“Domino’s is present in over 70 markets but certainly Indian operations have emerged as one of the largest and fastest growing,” said Richard Allison, executive VP, Domino’s pizza international.

“The 500th store mark achievement in India is because of dedication and constant brand nurturing efforts of the inspired leadership and team members here,” he added.

Domino’s Pizza is operated by Jubilant Foodworks, which also operates Dunkin Donuts. Domino’s Pizza opened first outlet in India in 1996.
