Denizen president resigns

Aaron Beng-Keong Boey has tendered his resignation as president and head of commercial operations for Asia Pacific of the Denizen brand of Levis Strauss.

“Now that we have announced the strategic decision to phase out the Denizen brand in Asia, Aaron has decided that this is the right time to leave and pursue new opportunities,” said a spokesperson for Levi Strauss.

Boey will leave his position on November 24 and he will be replaced by Andrew Martin, the current VP of finance for the Asia Pacific division.

Levi Strauss decided to phase out Denizen in Asia to focus on driving profitable growth and on growing its core Levi’s brand.

Denizen was launched in Asia in 2010 and was introduced in the US in 2011.
