Fast Retailing launches multi-brand store

Japanese retailer Fast Retailing will open its first multi-brand store, offering customers an opportunity to experience five of its labels under one roof.

The store to be called ‘Uniqlo Marche Printemps Ginza’ will be opened on November 2 at The Printemps Ginza department store in Tokyo’s Ginza district.

The concept of the first multi-brand store is to create a new style of wardrobe for women by showcasing clothing lines from five Fast Retailing brands: g.u., PLST (plus T), Comptoir des Cotonniers, Princesse tam.tam and Uniqlo.

For Princesse tam.tam, the Paris-based brand of lingerie, home wear and swimwear, Uniqlo Marche Printemps Ginza will be its first outlet in Japan.

Fast Retailing believes that the Printemps Ginza’s clientele of fashionable female professionals will benefit from the convenience of having five of its brands on sale at a single shopping destination.

“I hope that having five of our brands under one roof at this landmark location will offer busy professional women an exciting and convenient one-stop shopping destination,” said Tadashi Yanai, chairman, president and CEO of Fast Retailing.

Uniqlo Marche Printemps Ginza represents the first time Fast Retailing has partnered with The Printemps Ginza.

With approximately 2600sqm of retail space, the new Uniqlo Marche Printemps Ginza will occupy the 6th and 7th floors of the main building of the department store, just a few blocks away from the Uniqlo Ginza global flagship store.
