Boucheron opens Hong Kong store

French jeweller Boucheron, owned by PPR Group, has expanded its presence in Hong Kong with a new store on Pedder St.

The 850 sqft store is the company’s first directly operated store in Hong Kong. The interior which is flooded with light, highlighting the brilliance of the stones, will be replicated in future stores in the market.

“Hong Kong is a key region in which Boucheron will continue to show its savoir-faire and rich heritage,”said Pierre Bouissou, CEO of Boucheron.

Boucheron plans to open further mono-brand stores in Asia to boost presence and awareness in addition to its stores in China, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan.

The first Boucheron store in Hong Kong was opened in 2006 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The jewellery brand was founded in 1858 in Paris by Frédéric Boucheron.
