Kenneth Cole debuts in India

US fashion brand Kenneth Cole has entered the Indian market with its first store in Mumbai.

Located at Phoenix Market City the new store spans 2000 sqft and stocks clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women.

The brand is operated by local company Reliance Brands, which signed a distribution deal with Kenneth Cole last year.

Reliance Brands CEO Darshan Mehta is confident the brand, with its chic and urban image, will be embraced by Indians.

The expansion plan will involve the opening of five more stores in the next few months, including stores in Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj and Gurgaon, Palladium in Mumbai, Elante Mall in Chandigarh and Phoenix Market City in Chennai.

Kenneth Cole joins other international brands under the portfolio of Reliance Brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Iconix, Paul & Shark, Steve Madden, Superdry, Dune, Timberland and Brooks Brothers.
