Tumi, the US manufacturer of high-end suitcases and travel bags, has opened its first airport retail location in India.

The 750 sqm store is located at Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport T3. It sells full range of products including travel and business accessories, electronic items and exclusive range of the women’s collection.

The store is operated by local company DFS, with which the New Jersey-based company has partnered.

“This opening marks another successful partnership between the two international companies and another great milestone for GMR Delhi International Airport in India,” said the airport in a statement.

Tumi entered India just last year when it opened first store at the UB City Mall in Bangalore.
