Ian Rosenberg to enter India

High-end jeweller Ian Rosenberg, which specialises in making jewellery inspired by classic British design, plans to expand into India.

Following the success of his son Kevin’s jewellery business in Milan, Ian Rosenberg has begun preparations to start serving the Indian market.

A host of top Bollywood stars have already signed on as brand ambassadors and Rosenberg’s Indian-inspired designs were recently seen at several red carpet events. Indian fashion magazines are also keen to use Rosenberg jewellery in their shoots, to create an authentic English feel with an Indian twist.

The store itself will maintain Rosenberg’s desire for exclusivity and viewings for the range will only be provided on request.

“The Indian economy is enjoying a real boom at the moment and with that comes a demand for high quality luxury jewellery,” said Ian Rosenberg.

“The designs themselves are in homage to the opulence of the Indian Empire, celebrating the rich and diverse relationship of these two great nations,” added Rosenberg.

Ian Rosenberg Jeweller is already planning to set up shops in Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE, depending on the success of the Mumbai store.
