Italy’s Lotto eyes larger share of Indian footwear market as it plans more store openings across the country.

It says it is targeting to operate 100 exclusive stores by next year from 65 currently. Lotto also trades products through more than 200 shops-in-shops in retailers including Pantaloon, Reliance Footprint, Planet Sports and Shoppers Stop. It also collaborates with online players like Jabong, Yebhi, Myntra and Flipkart.

Lotto in India is operated by licensee Sports Lifestyle. The two have recently extended ties for another 15 years.

While known for footwear, Lotto also offers active lifestyle apparel and accessories.
