American outerwear brand London Fog is to enter India.

Iconix Lifestyle India, a joint venture between Iconix Brand Group of the US and India’s Reliance Brands, has signed Indian retail company Kapsons to operate London Fog business in India.

Kapsons will open over 20 London Fog standalone stores across India in the next three years. The company will also make the brand available at selected multi-brand stores.

“We have got a great brand partner in Kapsons and we are confident will be able to quickly capitalise on the long and rich heritage of London Fog and build it into a lifestyle brand that appeals to a broad range of consumers in India,” said Nitin Chhabra, business head of Iconix India.

“London Fog will be positioned at the upper end of the premium market and the collection will include shirts, knits, trousers and accessories for men and women.”

London Fog has more than 80 years of heritage as classic outerwear and contemporary lifestyle brand.
