Joint venture partners CapitaMalls Asia of Singapore and India’s Prestige Group are to open two new malls in India.

The malls, Forum Mall in Mangalore and Forum Sujana Mall in Hyderabad, will open in December and first quarter of 2014, respectively.

The Forum Mall in Mangalore will span around 700,000 sqft over three levels and will house a hypermarket, fashion brands, food and beverage outlets, entertainment facilities and a cinema.

The Forum Sujana Mall will be spread across 865,283 sqft over four levels and will be positioned as a lifestyle-oriented mall.

Capitamalls Asia and Prestige Group has already opened shopping malls in India including the Forum Value Mall in Bangalore.

Capitamalls Asia currently manages a pan-Asian portfolio of 102 shopping malls in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Japan and India.
