House of Technology (HoT) has opened its doors in Delhi’s Nehru Place metro station, cater to the demand from gadget lovers anytime on any day.

HoT is India’s first 24/7 electronics store and with a floor space of 40,000 sqft, also the country’s largest.

An initiative from Unique Infoways, HoT offers more than 100 technology brands.

“We don’t have electronics stores that cater to late-night shoppers. The idea is to cater to this latent demand and at any time throughout the week,” says CEO Vipul Jain.

Jain said they’re planning to open more such stores in other large cities.

While its success remains to be seen, Canon India EVP Alok Bharadwaj says it can draw high footfall among working people, yet, 24 hours stores will only work when the location is carefully chosen.
