Paul Frank plans 100 China stores

California-based lifestyle brand Paul Frank plans another 100 stores in China by the end of the year.

The brand is also introducing new store concepts, including Paul Frank Kids and Paul Frank Accessories stores, slated to open in 2014.

There are currently 60 Paul Frank standalone stores in China.

Paul Frank is also seeing expansion of its retail presence in other markets around the world including the Philippines, Peru and Hong Kong.

Established in 1997, Paul Frank began as an independent accessories company. By creating relationships through collaborations and strategic licensing partnerships, Paul Frank merchandise now includes apparel and accessories for all ages, books, stationery, eyewear, home decor and even bicycles.

The brand was acquired by Saban Brands in 2010.

Due to the rapid growth of all Saban Brands’ portfolio, the company has plans to open new offices in London, England and Shanghai, China later this year.
