Hawaiian chain enters China

Hawaiian barbecue chain L&L has marked its entry into China with a first outlet opening in Fumen province.

Its menu is similar to the ones in Hawaii, with some minor changes to suit the locals.

“We are offering the same L&L core menu in our China location, but we’re also adjusting it slightly to tailor towards the local Fumen taste palate,” said CEO Eddie Flores.

L&L will add soup to the menu and feature some local dishes.

L&L outlet in Fumen is the third in Asia after two outlets in Japan – in Tokyo and Kawasaki prefecture.
