Lan Kwai Fong blends art, culture, retail

Hong Kong-based bar and restaurant developer Lan Kwai Fong has broken ground on its newest development in mainland China, set to open in 2015.

Designed by architectural firm Benoy, the new development will blend art, dining, culture and retail.

“We have ensured unity and harmony in the overall architectural design of Lan Kwai Fong Wuxi and are confident that the development will be the iconic cultural and entertainment landmark of Taihu New City,” said Benoy global MD Simon Blore.

The Wuxi development is the company’s third in the mainland China after Chengdu and Haikou projects.

Led by Allan Zeman, Lan Kwai Fong operates more than 100 restaurants, bars and shops in Hong Kong.
