Lawson opens Naruto-themed stores

Convenience chain Lawson has opened five Naruto Shippuden-themed stores in Shanghai.

Lawson has collaborated with Chinese video site Tudou, the official Naruto distributor in China, to set up the stores.

Naruto is the third anime theme that Lawson has used at its stores after Ultra Heroes and Detective Conan.

Lawson has around 390 stores in Chinese cities including Shanghai, Dalian, Hangzhou and Chongqing.

In August, Lawson will open its first store in Beijing as part of expansion goal to operate 10,000 stores by 2020.
