Italian jewellery and mosaics maker Sicis is to open a store in Beijing in October.

The opening comes on the heels of its partnership agreement with Di Lusso Gaopin Design Co Ltd.

The 600 sqm store will feature two main areas – one displaying marble floors, floral mosaics on the walls and Sicis’ ‘Next Art’ furnishings, the other dedicated to VIP customers and featuring mosaics in marble, glass and other materials.

To pay tribute to the Chinese culture, Sicis will set up a large mosaic depicting a dragon.

“Through the partnership with Di Lusso Gaopin Beijing Design Co Ltd, Sicis sets out to strengthen and further consolidate the company’s reputation, synonymous with quality, research and Italian creativity in Beijing, displaying brand new mosaics and presenting heterogenous and imaginative collection inspired by the magic of the Orient,” said Sicis in a statement.

In Asia, Sicis already has stores in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul and India.
