Oregon-based retailer Columbia Sportswear Company has partnered with Chogori Retail to operate in India.

The outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment brand is now represented in about 100 countries.

“We are confident that Chogori Retail India, with more than a decade of experience building consumer brands in India, is well-equipped to compete and make us one of the first US-based outdoor companies to penetrate the world’s second-most-populous country,” said CEO Tim Boyle.

New Delhi-based Chogori Retail was founded in 2000 and currently acts as distributor and retailer of more than 10 international outdoor brands.
