Passengers using Singapore’s Changi Airport can now shop for duty free products in their home or hotel room.

Changi Airport has launched an online shopping site iShopChangi which offers a wide range of duty-free products from the airport’s retail and service stores.

Passengers can make their online purchases on iShopChangi from as early as two weeks to 24 hours prior to their flight and pick it at iShopChangi Collection Centres located near the GST refund counters within the Departure Transit Malls of each terminal.

Changi Airport Group said the new shopping site provides the convenience of shopping with just a click of a mouse.

“With iShopChangi, we are integrating Changi Airport’s strong proposition tax and duty-free shopping with the advantages of online retail – offering our passengers greater convenience, comfort and value,” said Ivy Wong, Changi Airport Group’s senior VP, airside concessions.

“The portal allows passengers to browse through a product range, compare prices and purchase their desired items in advance, without having to worry about popular products being out of stock on their travel date,” adds Wong.

iShopChangi addresses the needs of the three groups of passengers: those who prefer to plan ahead, those who are time-strapped and those who are unaware of what Changi has to offer, says Changi Airport Group.
