German luxury brand Montblanc has opened its first pop-up store in India.
The store – in Mumbai’s Palladium Mall – offers watches, pens, leather accessories and more.
“This is the first time we are following the format of a pop-up store and we expect a great response,” said Vishakha Doshi, director of marketing and communication at Entrack International, Montblanc’s exclusive distributor in india.
Pop-up stores are temporary stores which sell goods for a limited period of time, before shutting down and often moving elsewhere. The format is popular in the US, Canada, Great Britain and Australia.
Besides the pop-up store, Montblanc has boutique stores in India and it says it will scale up its presence there to take advantage of Indians’ strong affinity with luxury.
