Oroton returns to HK

Australian luxury leather goods brand Oroton has returned to Hong Kong with a new boutique at Hysan Avenue.

In 2010, Oroton selected Hong Kong as the first country in its international expansion, with a pop-up boutique at IFC Mall. Now Oroton has returned to the city on a permanent basis with a boutique in Causeway Bay.

The boutique, with stunning “O” façade, was designed by the Oroton team headed by creative director and GM Ana Maria Escobar. The design captures the essence of the brand and features the gold tones intrinsic to the Oroton name.

The Hong Kong boutique is the first in the world to showcase the new season’s collection, inspired by 1970s Australian architecture and textures such as stone, brushed metals and natural wood. Key pieces in this season include the Luminous grip-top with a sartorial chain shoulder strap and exclusive “O” clasp in this season’s rich deco red.

Oroton plays homage to its heritage with its occasion pieces in gold and silver signature mesh or adorned with Swarovski crystals.

The boutique features a full range of handbags, small accessories and gifts, jewellery, timepieces, footwear, knitwear and outerwear, along with a collection of essential men’s accessories, which are classic and functional, but always with a point of difference.

Exclusive to the boutique is the Hong Kong clutch, based on the Opéra style favoured on the red carpet and gilded with Swarovski crystals in a gold, cognac and chocolate ombré. Just 10 pieces of this limited edition piece have been created, giving the most discerning women the opportunity to become part of Oroton’s storied history.
