Samsung debuts in Denmark

Korean technology giant Samsung is opening its first Danish retail store – a pop-up shop in Copenhagen Airport.

The store was inspired by the idea of creating a cultural meeting between the peaceful and minimalistic Scandinavia and the vibrant and forward-looking Asia – ‘lively Seoul meets the peaceful Scandinavian nature’. This combination is evident in the interior decor with colour and texture gradients such as polished to matt and light to dark.

The pop-up shop located in the Nytorv area between Terminals 2 and 3, joins strong neighbours such as Eton, Marc by Marc Jacobs and the Danish high-end bakery chain Lagkagehuset.

In the store, travellers will have the opportunity to touch and feel as well as buy the latest technology from Samsung. It offers smartphones, tablets, cameras, sound, TVs and laptops.

Featured products include Samsung’s new Series 9 Ultra High Definition TVs, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear.

Shoppers will also be able to purchase a wide range of covers and accessories.
