Pavers Shoes in Indian expansion

Pavers Shoes plans to open 120 new retail stores and 280 more concessions in India over the next two years.

The British footwear retailer, with existing 70 department store concessions, has become the first foreign single-brand retailer to be allowed to set up wholly owned stores in India.

It has worked with Eurostop, which provides solutions for retail management for the fashion, footwear and general merchandise sectors encompassing both hardware and software.

“Our investment in Eurostop’s systems over 10 years ago has supported our fast growth both in the UK and now with our international business,” said Pavers MD Stuart Paver.

Founded by Cathie Paver in 1971, Pavers Shoes is a multi-channel retailer which stocks brands including Fly Flot, Van Dal, Timberland, Skechers, Hush Puppies, Bellissimo, Forelli, Hi-Tec, Gabor and Kangeroos.
