Krispy Kreme debuts in Singapore

Krispy Kreme is to open its first store in Singapore on October 12.

The North Carolina-based doughnut retailer has partnered with Star360 Group, owned by Andy Chaw, to open 15 stores in Singapore over the next five years.

To be located in Singapore’s Tangs Orchard Basement 1, the first store will span 1200 sqft. It will offer an assortment of iced, glazed, and filled doughnuts, as well as premium coffees and espressos, teas and iced beverages.

“Singapore is a food-loving nation, and I’m certain that having Krispy Kreme’s melt-in-your-mouth hot Original Glazed doughnuts from our new store’s Doughnut Theatre will be like nothing Singaporeans have ever experienced,” said Chaw.

Krispy Kreme, which has been making doughnuts for 76 years, has more more than 785 stores in 22 countries around the world.
