Boots enters Singapore

Boots, the UK’s leading pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer, has opened a dedicated area within the new Guardian flagship store in Ngee Ann City, Singapore.

Boots has partnered with Dairy Farm, a leading pan-Asian retailer, to sell the Boots products in Singapore, and by the end of December 2013, they will be available in nine selected Guardian stores.

Boots will offer a range of its beauty brands including No7 skincare and cosmetics, Botanics, Champneys, Mark Hill, Boots Dermocare and Boots Extracts. The stores will be staffed with “beauty advisors” who can help answer any customer questions about the brands and suggest how they can incorporate the Boots products into their beauty regime.

“Launching in Singapore is a great step for the Boots brand. We believe there is a real demand for the products and look forward to successfully making them available to our customers,” said Mark Luscombe, director of Boots Southeast Asia.

Boots, a member of international pharmacy-led health and beauty group Alliance Boots, also operates 23 Hong Kong stores through partnership with Dairy Farm’s Mannings.

Its biggest market in Southest Asia is Thailand, where it has 225 stores.
