Kishore Biyani-led company Future Lifestyle is on track to become India’s largest fashion company with plans to buy six brands.

Future Lifestyle is reportedly preparing to buy Bangalore-based garment chain Coupon, New Delhi-based premium apparel brand Giovani and department store chain Ritu Wears Biglife.

It is also close to deals with handbag and fashion brands.

“North India is one of the biggest consumption centres and we plan to acquire a few brands and retailers to expand distribution,” said Biyani.

The planned acquisitions come after Biyani divested his fashion chain Pantaloon to Aditya Birla last year and offloaded his stake in women’s ethnic brand Biba.
