Versace re-opens in India

After shutting down its stores in India last year, Italian fashion company Versace is reopening.

Versace entered India in 2005 through partnership with Delhi-based Blues Clothing Company, which ended last year. The scrapping of the partnership resulted in the closure of all three Versace stores in the country.

This time, Versace has partnered with Infinite Luxury Brands, which also operates luxury brands Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli and Missoni, to re-open its flagship store at DLF Emporio Mall in New Delhi. The store will span 220 sqm, it says.

Besides re-opening its flagships, Versace also plans setting up new ones in India.

Versace designs, markets and distributes luxury clothing, accessories, makeup and home furnishings under the various brands of the Versace Group.
