Krispy Kreme opens in Taiwan

Doughnut retailer Krispy Kreme, through its franchise partner Huan Hsin Co, has opened its first store in Taiwan.

Located in Taipei’s cosmopolitan financial district of Xinyi, Krispy Kreme’s 2400 sqft doughnut store offers an assortment of doughnut varieties plus a wide range of signature beverages including coffees, teas and iced beverages.

It also features a doughnut theater viewing area, where customers can enjoy watching the doughnut varieties being cooked, filled and topped in front of them.

“We are confident that they are going to love the Krispy Kreme brand and that the experience of the iconic doughnut theater viewing area and melt-in-your-mouth taste of a hot original glazed doughnut will bring smiles to the faces of guests of all ages,” said Hung Chun Hsu, president of Huan Hsin Co.

The store is the first of 10 planned Krispy Kreme stores in Taiwan over the next five years by Huan Hsin Co.

Today, Krispy Kreme can be found in approximately 810 locations in more than 20 countries around the world.
