Miu Miu opens store in Korea

High fashion brand Miu Miu continues to expand in Asia, with a new store in Busan, South Korea.

Located in the prestigious Shinsegae DF department store, the shop offers the leather, footwear and accessories collections.

The entrance reveals the brand’s avant-garde aesthetic – the glass façade and backlit tinplate curtain, with display cabinets and light boxes with brushed steel frames, gives the impression of a radiant theatre curtain that creates a glimpse of the inside space.

The ceiling diffuses a soft light which descends upon the matt-black marble palladiana floor, creating a warm, yet sophisticated, atmosphere.

The space, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, makes full use of the classic elements of the Miu Miu image, combining them with modern and innovative details.

Established by Prada in 1993, Miu Miu is characterised by its “avant-garde, sensual and provocative” style.
