Harrods Tea Room expands to Thailand

British luxury tea room and restaurant Harrods has expanded to Thailand, opening at Siam Paragon in Bangkok.

Its local partner, LME Co, plans to open two more outlets at CentralWorld and The Embassy.

The Siam Paragon outlet features an interior of green and cream hues and can accommodate 80 people.

LME Co, a distributor of fashion brands such as Espada, F Fashion, Von Dutch, ESP and Rock Express, said they expanded into food business because dining out is part of Thai lifestyle.

“Research shows the lifestyle business is a global trend. Food is all about lifestyle and it can augment our lifestyle fashions perfectly,” said LME CEO Boonchai Kongpukpaisarn.
