Asia Pacific private equity firm Affinity Equity Partners is likely to become the new owner of Australian franchise chain Boost Juice.

Affinity Equity Partners is in advanced talks with The Riverside Company to buy Retail Zoo, which owns Boost Juice, Salsa’s Fresh Mex Grill and Cibo Espresso.

The Riverside Company has a 70 per cent interest in Retail Zoo, with the remaining interest owned by Boost Juice founders Janine and Jeff Allis.

Media reports say Retail Zoo is for sale for more than $200 million.

Boost Juice has more than 250 stores in 14 countries, most of which are in Australia. It has plans to expand its Singapore and Malaysian presence where it has a combined 29 stores.
