Brabantia opens Philippine store

Dutch premium home products brand Brabantia has opened its first standalone store in the Philippines – at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.

The company has allied with Garden Barn Incorporated of Suyen Corporation to open the store, which offers a wide range of products from waste management to laundry essentials, kitchen tools and storage and bathroom accessories.

Prior to opening the store, Brabantia made its products available through DIY stores. According to the brand’s sales manager for Asia Pacific Danny den Hartog, the company has seen double-digit growth for the past years of operating in the Philippines.

“And this year, we also want to achieve the same kind of percentage. I think we should be more than 25 per cent in terms of growth,” he said.

Hartog is confident about the country’s prospects as the number of Filipinos who seek quality increases.

“The growth areas, I think, will go a lot in waste management for sure. Waste separation will be a big thing in the future as people are becoming more environmentally friendly. So we have a lot of products or solutions for waste separation,” says Hartog.

Established in 1919, Brabantia is now active in 85 countries.
