Coffee Bean to expand in Sri Lanka

Coffee brand Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is forging ahead with expansion in Sri Lanka.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which is managed by International Brands Ceylon, a fully–owned subsidiary of Singapore-based Calamander Group, plans to open 10 new outlets this year.

It says that although its current customer base is in Colombo, it is looking to open beyond the city, as Sri Lanka’s urban middle class grows.

It will also refurbish its outlet at Mailtand Crescent in Colombo, increasing its space by another 50 per cent.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf currently has three outlets in Sri Lanka.
