Taiwanese food chain expands in Australia

Taiwanese chicken restaurant chain Hot Star is expanding in Australia.

Having gained strong market acceptance in Melbourne where it has two outlets, Hot Star will open in Sydney at 96 Liverpool St in CBD on March 2.

“We’re thrilled with how Hot Star has been received in the Melbourne market,” said Kyle Lam, one of the heads of the brand in Australia.

“Our existing stores at 233 Swanston St and 429 Elizabeth St have been extremely successful and we are confident Sydneysiders will appreciate the flavour, texture and quality of our product,” said Lam.

Just recently, Hot Star also expanded into the Philippines, opening its first outlet in Manila’s new Blue Bay Walk along Macapagal Ave, just a few minutes from SM Mall of Asia.
