French Habitat reopens in Singapore

French furniture retailer Habitat is returning to the Singapore market, reopening in October.

Habitat will take up 1500 sqm at the Big Box, an eight-storey complex in Jurong East.

“In the last two years, we have refreshed the concept of Habitat, and we’re ready to expand into the Asian region,” said Vincent Destailleur, CEO of Cafom, the parent company Habitat.

“The Singapore market will get most of the items such as lighting, home accessories and furniture that the other markets do,” adds Destailleur.

Meanwhile, Japanese home and lifestyle furniture brand Francfranc plans to shutter two stores at VivoCity in Harbourfront and JCube in Jurong East by May.
