Singapore-based online store Luxola has raised a $10 million investment from Japanese company Transcosmos.
Luxola, founded in 2011, offers cosmetic products and ships to eight countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, UAE, Brunei and Hong Kong.
The company said with the new capital, it will enhance services through initiatives such as improved user marketing, customer care and mobile experience in each country, as well as new construction and expansion of distribution centers in Indonesia and Thailand.
“Luxola will use these funds to continue its pursuit of becoming the number one destination for all things beauty in Southeast Asia through its e-commerce platform Luxola.com and its content platform Lxedit.com,” said founder and CEO Alexis Horowitz-Burdick.
Transcosmos provides overall IT outsourcing services such as call center services, business process outsourcing services and digital marketing services.
Luxola is also backed by GREE Ventures.
