Desigual to open Malaysian stores

Spanish fashion brand Desigual continues its Asian expansion with plans to open two new stores in Malaysia.

Desigual plans to open at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, where it already has two stores.

“This airport is one of the main connection hubs in Malaysia and a strategic area in Asia for the company,” said Desigual in a statement.

The company also plans to roll out more airport stores in Hong Kong and China and other parts of Asia to grow its footprint in the region.

It has recently signed Brazilian model Adriana Lima as its global ambassador, who it describes as a “woman who truly embodies the free, fun and colorful spirit of the brand”.

Desigual is currently in 109 countries with over 425 retail stores, 11,000 multi-brand stores, 2,500 corner concessions in department stores and online stores in 20 countries.
