Honolulu-based Teddy’s Bigger Burgers is expanding into the Philippines, planning to open nine stores over the next three years.
The first outlet will open at Greenbelt 3 in Makati City on July 18.
The Philippine stores are to be operated by local partner High Jab Group.
“Opening in the Philippines is beyond anything we could have imagined when we started our first little burger joint,’ said Teddy’s co-founder Rich Stula.
The partners have also identified Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila as a potential location.
Teddy’s Bigger Burgers operates 11 outlets in Hawaii and recently opened in Washington and Iowa. Teddy’s is also present in Japan.
