Korean-based pizza chain operator MPK Group plans to open up to 100 stores across China by the end of this year.

MKP, with local partner Golden Eagle Group, this week opened a new Mr Pizza outlet in Nanjing.

The outlet, its first in Nanjing, is located at the Golden Eagle Department Store on Xinjiekou Street. The 120-seat restaurant spans 285 sqm offering pizza in an open-type kitchen, allowing customers to take a view of the entire process of cooking.

The outlet is MKP’s 33rd outlet in China. Another five are planned for this month in Liaoning and Shandong.
